Sir Aglovale de Galis, son of King Pellinore, was not always one of the good guys among King Arthur's knights. In this 1905 novel inspired by Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, Clemence Housman fills in his character's motivations and connections to his family and other knights, drawing on hints from the original and human nature.
Clemence Housman, sister of A.E. Housman, was best known as an artist in her own day. However, she also published poetry, historical novels, and fantasy stories.
